The rule basically states that there needs to be two opposition players between the attacker and the goal if the attacker is not behind the ball. If the attacker is even with the second player and gets behind (or past) the second player after the ball is kicked, then the attacker is still onsides, even if they beat the ball into the position behind that second player. * Usually, the goalkeeper is considered one of the two defenders for the defensive team. |

Yes. However, don't try it until you have given it some practice. If you don't know what your doing you could end up getting yourself or anothr player injured. If that doesn't happen you could end up with a yellow, or worse, a red card. This is a skill that we will work on and it is fairly easy to master. With the right mix of timing, coordination and knowledge of best situations in which to use this skill, you can be shutting down streaking forwards in no tiime. |

Varsity matches consist of two 40-minute halves totalling 80 minutes no stoppage time addded. When the game clock ticks down to zero the game is complete. |
